It's Auction time again! The Auction is the September Massachusetts Orchid Society Meeting on Tuesday, September 10th, 2013! Please note there is no show table this month.
We've got great plants coming from some great vendors as well as many members, and you can help by bringing in your extra plants for all to bid on! Hopefully, you had great growth this summer, and now you have to divide plants to get them to fit back in your growing space for the fall and winter.
Please note that the meeting starts at 7 p.m. instead of the normal 7:30 p.m. If you are able to come early to help setup, your help would be much appreciated. We will need help during the auction, and if you are interested in being a spotter, a runner or helping in any other way, please let me know. All plant donations are tax deductible, and plants that go for over the fair market value can have the excess deducted (I believe this is correct but please check with your tax professionals to verify...).
This is the society's biggest fundraiser and your help is essential! If you have plants you're planning on donating, please let me know in advance so that we can get some lists up on the website. Thanks!
