Monthly Meetings

We get together once a month to trade knowledge, swap stories, and enjoy orchids. The program for a typical meeting includes:

an educational presentation by a guest speaker

an orchid show table

plant sales

a short business meeting

a raffle for orchid plants.

Meetings are open to the public—guests and visitors are always welcome!

Meetings are held at 7:00 on the second Tuesday of the month at the Sons of Italy (117 Swanton Street, Winchester, MA.)

Note: many members show up about about 6:30 pm to grab a cup of coffee, socialize, and set up their plants on the show table.

Meeting Schedule:

6:30 pm Doors open

7:00 pm Plants due on the Show Table; Socializing and refreshments

7:15 pm Show Table judging begins

7:30 pm MOS announcements and Show Table presented

8:00 pm Guest speaker

9:00 pm Cont. Show Table and raffles

Additional Directions

From Rte. 93: Take Exit 36 Montvale Ave. towards Woburn. Take a left at Washington Street (Wendy's at intersection). Follow Washington Street for 2 miles. Turn right onto Swanton Street. Sons of Italy is on the right after railroad overpass.

From Rte. 128: Take Exit 36 Washington Street towards Woburn. Follow straight through the Montvale Ave. intersection and as above.
